Edging Forward Exhibit Catalogue

This catalogue describes the opening exhibit of the multi-media project, Edging Forward: Reconnection, Reconciliation, Regeneration, held at the Robert Bateman Centre, in Victoria, British Columbia, on October 12th, 2017. A collaboration between author Ann Dale and artist Nancyanne Cowell, the curator, Jaime Clifton-Ross, showcased selected text from Dale’s book, Edging Forward, with the paintings uniquely designed for each chapter. The catalogue features reproductions of the paintings and the literary interpretations, an exhibit designed to bring together art and science, to explore how to move to more sustainable communities. The project is supported by a virtual library of print, visual and auditory files for those readers who want to dive more deeply into sustainable community development and climate change at https://edgingforward.wordpress.com/
